According to the goals, they were distinguished in: schools of art and craft, associations of employees in which an appeal to young people and the schools of religious dedication, who chose a sacred guardian and to the worship and help of the poor and needed. According to economic availability, they distinguish themselves in large schools and small schools. The large schools were six: St. M. van Charity, S. M. Della Mimericordo, S.
