possagnoThe town of Possagno links its records to that of the genius of Antonio Canova, who was born there in 1757. The Guided Tour of Possagno includes: the Gypsoteca which homes a sizeable series of the artists plaster casts. Annexed to the Gypsoteca the birthplace of Canova which homes the artists canvases, watercolors, engravings, marbles and paintings tools; the Temple positioned in scenographic role at the hill overlooking the metropolis; it constitutes the parish church of the town and preserves art work via way of means of Luca Giordano, Jacopo Palma the more youthful and works via way of means of Canova himself. Trad.
