The National Natural Park of the Euganean Hills is characterized by 22,000 hectares in size and 4 spas: Abano, Montegrotto, Battaglia, Galzignano. There are fabulous villas such as: Villa Barbarigo, with its baroque garden full of waterfalls (Valsanzibio in Galzignano); Villa dei Vescovi with its unique landscape (Torreglia); Villa Selvatico with its original church-castle situated on a hill (Battaglia); the Catajo, a magnificent castle of the sixteenth century situated in a charming, Reinassance park in Monselice; Villa Molin (that recalls the style of Palladio), along the Canale Battaglia; Villa Frassanelle that dates back to the nineteenth century that stands in the heart of a huge park (Rovolon); Villa Emo-Capodilista, movie set of the Merchant of Venice in Selvazzano. There are also places of worship and pilgrimage such as: Praglia and the Monte della Madonna, the Madonna del Tresto, south of the Euganean Hills; the Eremo of Monte Rua in Torreglia, Monteortone in Abano and the Santuario delle Sette chiese in Monselice.
